SEO Services
Professional SEO Services in Canada
Most SEO problems are not mysteries. A site has pages nobody searches for, no page for the thing everybody searches for, and a technical layer quietly stopping the good pages from being found. Enginely works out which of those is costing you traffic, then fixes them in the order that pays back fastest.
Our professional SEO services cover the whole chain — what people search, which page should own it, whether that page can be crawled and understood, and whether the visit becomes an enquiry. A ranking is a checkpoint on that chain, not the finish line.

What are professional SEO services?
Professional SEO services are an ongoing programme to make a website findable, understandable and persuasive in organic search. The work spans six areas that only produce results together — fixing one in isolation rarely moves revenue.
- Technical SEO — can search engines reach, render and index your pages?
- Search intent — does each page target something people search with intent to act?
- Content — does the page answer the need better than what currently ranks?
- Architecture — does the site structure make important pages easy to reach?
- Authority — do credible third parties reference you?
- Measurement — can you tell which of the above produced the enquiry?
An SEO agency selling only one of these is selling a component, not an outcome.
Diagnosis First
Where Organic Growth Actually Stalls
Five patterns account for most of what we see. The symptom is usually obvious; the cause usually isn't — and treating the wrong one is how budget gets spent with nothing to show.
Rankings look fine, enquiries don't move
You rank for terms people search while learning, not while buying. The fix is intent mapping, not more content: separate the questions people ask before they have budget from the searches they run when they are ready to choose someone.
Google keeps ranking the wrong page
Two or three of your pages target the same search, so none wins outright and the one Google picks is rarely the one you would have chosen. This is cannibalization. It is fixed by consolidating and redirecting, not by optimizing each page harder.
New pages take months to show up
Usually an architecture problem. If a page sits four clicks from the homepage, is missing from the sitemap and is linked from nowhere relevant, crawlers reach it slowly and rarely. Internal linking is the cheapest indexation fix most sites never make.
You sit on page two for everything
Usually depth and authority rather than anything technical. The pages are fine but thinner than the results above them, and nothing credible points at them. Publishing more pages will not fix this; better pages and earned references might.
Traffic dropped and nobody knows why
Before blaming an algorithm update, we check the boring causes: a staging robots.txt shipped to production, a canonical pointing at the wrong URL, a migration that dropped its redirects, or a tag change that broke conversion tracking — in which case traffic is fine and the reporting isn't.
Search Engine Optimization Services, Scoped to the Cause
Once the constraint is identified, the work is unglamorous and specific. Below is what a full engagement covers — but a good SEO service company should be willing to tell you that you only need two of the six. Buying all of them when indexation is the entire problem is how retainers come to be resented.
Scope of Work
What Is Included in Our SEO Services
Technical SEO
Crawling, indexing, rendering and Core Web Vitals — response codes, canonicals, sitemaps, robots directives, JavaScript rendering, duplicate URLs, structured data and mobile usability. You get findings ordered by business impact against implementation effort, not a 400-row crawler export.
Keyword and intent mapping
Every commercial topic is assigned exactly one primary URL, and informational demand is routed to the blog rather than competing with it. The output is a keyword-to-page map your team can hold us to — and which settles when a new page is justified and when it is not.
On-page optimization
Titles, descriptions, headings, copy, internal links, image context and the path to conversion. Keywords go where they add clarity. The test applied to every page: does this answer the underlying need better than the results currently above it?
Expert-led content
Briefs and drafts built from your team's actual knowledge — service pages, industry pages, comparisons and FAQs covering decision criteria, evidence, limitations and next steps. Content that restates what competitors already published has no reason to outrank them.
Digital authority
Citations, professional profiles, listings, reviews and editorial mentions a real organization would plausibly earn. We prioritize sources that carry weight in your field over raw volume, and we do not buy links or place them on sites that exist to sell them.
Measurement and reporting
Reporting that ties completed work to rankings, clicks, landing-page engagement, conversions and qualified enquiries — and states what changed, why it matters and what happens next. Where AI search is in scope, mentions and citations are tracked alongside.
How We Work
Our SEO Process
- STEP 01
Discover
your services, markets, margins and the enquiries you actually want. The output is a shortlist of commercial priorities, not a keyword dump.
- STEP 02
Audit
technical access, page overlap, content depth, authority and conversion tracking, measured against the sites currently outranking you.
- STEP 03
Map
one primary URL per commercial intent, informational demand routed separately, and a decision on which existing pages get improved, merged or retired.
- STEP 04
Improve
the prioritized work, sequenced so indexation and tracking fixes land before anything that depends on them.
- STEP 05
Measure
what moved, what didn't, what we learned, and what changes in the next cycle.
Engagement Model
A Managed Programme, or Senior Consulting?
The right model depends on your capacity to implement, not the size of your budget. The audit tells us which one fits — and we would rather say so than sell you the larger one.
| Managed programme | Senior consulting | |
|---|---|---|
| Best when | You need the work done, not just specified — no in-house SEO resource, or the team is at capacity. | You already have developers, writers or an agency and need direction and quality control. |
| Enginely owns | Audits, page strategy, briefs and content, on-page work, authority, reporting. | Strategy, keyword-to-page map, briefs, technical specs, review of what your team ships. |
| Your team owns | Approvals, subject-matter input, developer access. | All implementation, on an agreed schedule. |
| First 90 days | Audit, roadmap, critical technical fixes shipped, first content live. | Audit, roadmap, briefs and specs handed over, implementation reviewed. |
| Fails when | Approvals stall. We can produce work, but we cannot publish it for you. | Your team has no capacity to implement — then it is a plan nobody executes. |
Expectations
What Changes, and When
Indicative rather than promised — every site starts somewhere different. But you should know roughly what to expect at each stage, including what will still be unresolved.
| Timeframe | What typically changes | What does not |
|---|---|---|
| Weeks 1–4 | Indexation and canonical fixes, tracking corrections, and quick on-page wins on pages already ranking just below the fold. | Competitive head terms, or anything depending on new content or authority. |
| Months 2–3 | New and consolidated pages indexed and starting to rank. Long-tail and lower-competition terms move first. | Positions in the most contested commercial searches in your market. |
| Months 4–6 | Topic clusters mature, internal links compound, authority work registers. Qualified enquiries usually become measurable here. | Guaranteed positions — results still depend on what competitors ship in the same window. |
| Ongoing | Compounding gains, plus defence: competitors improve, and pages decay without maintenance. | Autopilot. Organic search is not a project with an end date. |
SEO and AI Search Are Now One Programme
Google results, AI Overviews and standalone answer engines depend on the same underlying conditions: pages a crawler can reach, information it can interpret, and corroboration from sources it already trusts. A site failing those tests is invisible in both places, for the same reasons.
What differs is measurement. A ranking report tells you nothing about whether ChatGPT names you when someone asks for a provider like you. When that matters, the SEO roadmap connects directly to our generative engine optimization services — one programme with two ways of being measured, not two competing budgets.
Local, National and Global Organic Visibility
Where your customers are changes the shape of the work entirely. A single-location practice needs accurate business profiles, service-area relevance and reviews — the focus of our local SEO services. A national organization needs topic depth and market-level authority. A global company needs international architecture and language governance before anything else.
We build the smallest structure that can work, then extend it. We will not recommend twenty city pages because a competitor has them: thin location pages dilute the pages that were working and invite exactly the quality problems they were meant to solve.
SEO for High-Trust and Complex Industries
Enginely is built for organizations whose customers research carefully before making contact — where the decision involves health, money or legal exposure, and where what you may claim is constrained by a professional body.
That changes the method, not just the vocabulary. Our dental SEO and law firm SEO programmes build review checkpoints into the publishing schedule, because in these fields a page that ranks and is wrong costs more than a page that never ranked at all.
What We Will Not Do
No agency can guarantee a position it does not control. We commit to evidence-led priorities, implementation you can inspect, and reporting that survives scrutiny — including the months where the honest summary is that something did not work.
- Buy links, or place them on sites that exist to sell them
- Publish unreviewed content about regulated subjects
- Spin up city or service pages with no unique substance behind them
- Copy a competitor's site structure and call it a strategy
- Report rising rankings while conversions stay flat, and not mention it
- Recommend a larger engagement than the audit findings justify
Reporting
How We Measure, and What Each Number Is Worth
Every metric in an SEO report has a blind spot. Naming them is the difference between reporting and marketing.
| What we report | What it proves | What it doesn't |
|---|---|---|
| Rankings | That a page is competing for the intent you assigned it. | Whether anyone clicks, or whether they were the right person. |
| Impressions & clicks | Real demand, and how compelling your listing is at that position. | Commercial value — high-volume informational terms flatter this number. |
| Landing-page engagement | That the page delivers what the search promised. | Intent. A long read can still be the wrong reader. |
| Conversions | That the path from search to contact works. | Lead quality, unless you tell us which enquiries were worth having. |
| Qualified enquiries | The only number that connects SEO to revenue. | Nothing — but it needs your input to be accurate, and we will ask for it. |
